Unitins FM is a public and educational radio from the State University of Tocantins (Unitins), which offers diversified programming to meet the preferences of the most varied styles of listeners. They are programs with informative, journalistic, sports, educational, cultural and entertainment contents, specially designed to promote the critical awareness of citizens. Programming and interactivity with the listener combined with radio journalism with useful information for the community's day-to-day life value and promote the cultural diversity of Tocantins.
As of February 2019, the studios and other radio sectors began to function in the Unitins administrative headquarters building, in Palmas, further emphasizing the character of a public and educational broadcasting station.
The content offered to listeners on Unitins FM's programming schedule is the difference between broadcasters in Tocantins. As of 2019, a work model was adopted that enables the transmission of radio content to television and social media, in addition to converting programs from Unitins' TV Educativa (TV Cultura) to radio, thus ensuring full integration between two major communication vehicles.
Unitins FM's programming is aimed at residents of the 139 municipalities in Tocantins. Listeners who are spectators through radios, cell phones or the internet.
Daily, from Monday to Friday, Unitins FM airs eight programs aimed at information and knowledge with news, interviews, entertainment, listeners' participation and much more.
