Permissions Notice: Block Guard requires "Default SMS Handler" and "Default Phone Handler" permissions. These are necessary to send/receive messages and manage calls directly, allowing the app to filter spam effectively before it reaches your notifications.

Ratings and reviews

This app works great, it has a lot of features other call blocking apps don't have or they do and charge a subscription for. Can backup settings and messages into an encrypted file and restore them into a new phone. It even translates to different languages which is helpful! Haven't got any spam or scam calls since!

I've been using this for a year now and it's been great at cutting down my spam calls. if there's a number that doesn't get blocked by the app I can add it quickly and I never hear back from that caller.

I've been using this App for about a Week now and I'm finding that it Works very well. It can run in the background while you still use your phone's native Phone App. It is currently Blocking unwanted Calls without Notifications - which is what I want. I Highly Recommend this App.
