Backgammon Parlour sets up a quiet club table for one: a burgundy leather board with brass rails, cream and walnut points, ivory checkers for you and deep-red ones for the computer. Classic backgammon against the computer, at your own pace.

FAIR DICE — NEVER RIGGED
Every roll comes from a standard, tested random generator. The dice never look at the board, and the computer never sees your rolls in advance. Close the app mid-game and the next roll is exactly the one it would have been.

THE FULL CLASSIC RULES
• The opening roll, hitting and the bar, entering from the bar
• Doubles played four times; both dice used when possible, otherwise the larger one
• Bearing off, gammons (2 points) and backgammons (3 points)
• Play one game, or a match to 3, 5 or 7 points

TWO COMPUTER OPPONENTS
• Relaxed plays gently and makes a few human mistakes.
• Seasoned plays its best every move.
The computer moves slowly enough to follow, and its last play stays on the board as faint arrows.

EASY TO PLAY
• Tap a checker and every place it may go lights up in brass; tap one to move.
• No dragging, no timer, and a wrong tap never costs you anything.
• Undo is free until you tap Done. When only one move is possible, the game can play it for you.
• Not sure? A hint draws the best play for your roll as numbered arrows.

MADE FOR COMFORT
The board is turned so every point is a wide band on a phone screen. Text follows your phone's font size; pip counts, sound and vibration can be switched off; and TalkBack reads every point, the dice, the bar and the computer's moves. Your game is saved after every step, and your record of wins, losses and gammons is kept.

ADS, PLAINLY
Backgammon Parlour is supported by ads. There are no purchases and no account.
• A banner sits below the board on the game screen, never on top of it. The lobby has no banner.
• A full-screen ad can appear only after a game, when you leave the result panel: never during a game, never in your first 3 games, and at most once every 2 games.
• The first hint in every game needs no ad. After that you can choose to watch an ad for another hint, up to 5 more per game.
You can play offline. Ads, and the hints that come with them, need an internet connection. Ad privacy choices are in Settings.
