WhatColor identifies the exact color of any surface — walls, furniture, fabric, floors — right from your camera.
Most color identifier apps just read raw pixel data. The problem? A wall under warm bulbs looks completely different than the same wall in daylight. WhatColor corrects for ambient room lighting, so you get the true color, not a lighting artifact.
How it works?
Two circles appear on screen. Align the top circle with any white surface nearby — paper, ceiling, wall — and the bottom circle with your target surface. Tap Scan. The app uses the white reference to cancel out the room's color cast and returns what the color actually is under neutral light.
