• Standard: full network view with rail type colouring
• Max speed: lines colour-coded by maximum permitted speed
• Electrification: AC and DC systems by voltage class
• Track gauge: standard, broad, narrow and mixed-gauge lines
• Usage: passenger, freight, heritage and industrial services
• High-speed: dedicated HSR corridors and upgraded fast lines
• Stations: station and halt locations with density
• Level crossings: classified by safety risk
• Under construction: active build sites and extensions
• Proposed: planned and approved future lines
• Historical: disused and abandoned railways

OFFLINE MAPS
• Download region packs to use maps without a network connection
• Region packs updated weekly
• Tile depth scales with region size: city packs reach zoom 13, national packs zoom 9 — range shown before download
• Strict offline mode: disables network requests, uses installed packs only
• Wi-Fi-only download option and per-region disk usage control
• Pause, resume and delete downloads at any time

MAP CUSTOMIZATION
• Built-in presets: default and infrastructure-style colouring
• Custom presets: change rail line colors, widths and opacity per layer state
• Up to 20 presets saved on device, applied separately for light and dark themes

LAYERS & APPEARANCE
• Vector basemaps (auto, light, dark) with optional OpenStreetMap raster overlay
• Rail layer opacity control
