Railspan is a bridge building simulator and physics puzzle game with freight trains. Design railway bridges, test them under load, and improve your construction until the train reaches the other side.
Design a railway bridge, send a locomotive across, and watch your construction respond to the weight of the train. If it bends, breaks or fails, return to the drawing board, strengthen your design and try again.
Railspan is a bridge-building physics puzzle set in the industrial landscapes of Central and Eastern Europe around 1980. Build your way through factory sidings, a coal district and suburban railway connections.
BUILD, TEST AND IMPROVE
Connect structural beams, lay tracks and add cable reinforcement. Work with each location's anchor points and budget to find your own solution. Undo and redo make it easy to experiment.

Progress through three worlds with eight challenges each. Tackle longer spans, heavier trains and tighter budgets as your engineering skills grow.

Test your bridges with period diesel locomotives and different freight wagons. Watch the structure deform under load and discover where it needs support.
MAKE EVERY BEAM COUNT
Earn up to three stars per level by completing the crossing and reducing construction costs. Return to earlier bridges and improve your best designs.
