About this app

Bring the conductor’s side of model railroad operations to life with Fusee.

Fusee is a crew and conductor companion designed for model railroad operating sessions. Instead of simply presenting a switch list, Fusee guides you through the hands-on activities that make railroad work feel like railroad work.

Follow conductor workflows built from realistic activities such as lining and locking switches, walking to equipment, setting and releasing hand brakes, coupling and uncoupling cars, connecting air hoses, operating angle cocks, charging air, performing inspections, conducting stretch tests, and making radio calls.

Built for your railroad

Create and customize conductor workflows for your own industries, routes, and operating practices. Fusee includes prebuilt activities that can be edited, rearranged, duplicated, and combined to match the way you operate.

Designed for operating sessions

• Step-by-step conductor and crew activities
• Countdown timers for timed actions
• Realistic railroad sound effects
• Optional radio calls and crew interaction
• Customizable activities and workflows
• Skip and return controls when operations change
• Works offline — no cloud service or subscription required
• Designed for phones used alongside your model railroad

Fusee focuses on the work between the moves: the small actions a conductor performs before, during, and after switching cars. Use it for a single industry, a sequence of switching activities, or an entire operating workflow.

Works with Vector

Fusee can work alongside Vector, Railworks Studio’s Wi-Fi model railroad throttle, for a more connected operating experience. When used together, Fusee handles the conductor’s activities while Vector handles locomotive control, making it easy to move between crew work and running your train.

Fusee is part of the Railworks Studio family of purpose-built apps for model railroad operations.
