My old controller (ESP-TM2 Series) was constantly off a couple of days date-wise. It was advised to buy a new controller. I purchased the TRU Series controller because I thought it would be pretty neat to tell Alexa to turn it on! But I was using the old App. I tried to download 2.0 and OMG, it's impossible to connect with! It doesn't connect, it don't work! I hope I can go back to the old App and if I can't use Alexa, then so be it. It would have been cool.😕 (CS is fantastic, tho)

My app is able to connect in a stable fashion and I can manually start or program times for stations to run, but there are a couple big features that don't appear to work at all. First up - don't even bother trying to track runtime or water usage through this app - it just flat out doesn't work at all. The biggest pain for me is the "automatic seasonal adjust" - it has no sane logic behind it and constantly does crazy things, like turning the water to 23% on the hottest days

It took a while to get it set up. It seemed as if I changed the time and day 5 or 6 times in different settings. Its finally all set up and working fantastic. I no longer have to walk to the box to test east zone as well as turn off/on. I can set my watering days and rain sensors.
