Birdle is a daily guessing game for bird lovers!
The goal is to guess the bird and its characteristics in 5 guesses or fewer.
Listen to the bird call and watch the bird image reveal after each guess.
It's fun for all levels, from beginners to hard core birders.
The game is being developed in cooperation with BirdLife South Africa, with the purpose of raising awareness for birds and their conservation status, while also inspiring more people to go birding.
Birdle is great for challenging one's knowledge as well as honing one's skills at identifying birds around the world.

(Devs have corrected this one and it's a good app, more stars!) Occasional incorrect information can be frustrating. E.g red-necked grebe is not primarily an aerial bird! A bit more checking of the answers before publishing would be good please. Otherwise enjoyable.

Everyday my family and I play birdle and share our results. My knowledge has grown so much since doing Birdle and it brings a little bit of nature/birds into my space when the city is so devoid of any diversity. I recommend it so any bird lover from novice to Pro.

Usually great fun. Sometimes the background noise for the calls is very confusing and there are occasional errors like calling Spurwing goose medium sized but we still enjoy it a lot

Could you let me know at alberto@rainingrock.com which calls could be improved? For some bird, their call is extremely rare, so it's not always possible to get a clear version.
