About this game

Birdle is a daily guessing game for bird lovers!
The goal is to guess the bird and its characteristics in 5 guesses or fewer.

Listen to the bird call and watch the bird image reveal after each guess.
It's fun for all levels, from beginners to hard core birders.

The game is being developed in cooperation with BirdLife South Africa, with the purpose of raising awareness for birds and their conservation status, while also inspiring more people to go birding.

Birdle is great for challenging one's knowledge as well as honing one's skills at identifying birds around the world.

Been doing wordle for a long time through the browser and happy to have it in an app. Would have been nice to carry over my statistics.. A method of keeping that by creating an account could be useful. Also, hope to see a few other small add-ons in the future? Increasing the time spent on the app focusing on birds and birding. Forum sections, possibly?

I absolutely love my daily 'game' of Birdle: it's cheerfully informative with quirky facts and a beautiful photo of each day's bird. My appreciation of birdlife and my ear for bird calls has been enhanced over the >6 months that I've been 'playing' Birdle (from before it was an app). If I fail to guess the bird correctly in 5 rounds I still feel happy with what I've got right. I can't think of a single negative aspect of Birdle!

The only daily puzzle worth doing! Equally satisfying to get it in one as it is working it out & learning about fleeting UK visitors.
