The RainMachine Android mobile app connects your Android phone/tablet to your RainMachine hardware and allows you to control and adjust your watering cycles, change zones and program properties, set restriction, enable weather services, snooze device or pause watering.
RainMachine Android mobile app allows you to interact with your garden when at home and remotely from anywhere.

Ratings and reviews

This app is a huge disappointment. Many of us bought this system believing remote access was included, which was a major reason for the purchase. Afterward, the company changed the terms and started charging extra for remote access, limiting use to only when you are home unless you pay more. That feels deceptive and unfair. Changing key features after the sale destroys trust. I would not recommend this app to anyone.

Local control no longer works. Was working fine for me until a recent Android OS update on my S22 ultra. Like others have reported, I can no longer connect to the controller via IP address in the app. However, my old Tab 2 tablet still works with the app and controller. Devs, please update the app to work with the latest Android OS updates. Thx.

App doesn't work half the time. There's no remote access. Only when I'm on home wifi and still extremely unstable. Read that need to pay to use app. That's "bait&switch". When i got the system there was no charge and that's why i got it. I understand that it might be a charge for app but only for those who buy it now and know ahead of time that there's monthly fee. Moreover, it could be raining before, during ot after scheduled time, waters anyway. 1 star rating for 1 star service. Fair!

What’s new

Fixes zone photos not loading on the Zones screen until you opened and
saved a zone, and stops photos from a previous controller location being
shown. Zone photos now match the web app.
