About this app

๐Ÿง  Brain Rot Meter

Count Every Reel. Watch Your Brain Rot.

Ever opened Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts for "just 5 minutes" and somehow lost an hour?

Brain Rot Meter shows exactly how much short-form content you're consuming by tracking your scrolling activity in real time.

Instead of hiding your habits behind screen-time reports, Brain Rot Meter puts the numbers right in front of you with a floating counter and a brain mascot that changes as your scrolling increases throughout the day.

No productivity gimmicks.
No fake rewards.
No XP.
Just awareness.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Grant the required permissions including Accessibility Service.
2. Open supported short-form video feeds (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat).
3. Brain Rot Meter uses the Android AccessibilityService API to detect scroll events and window content changes in those apps only.
4. The service reads on-screen structure to identify reel layouts โ€” it does not read text, passwords, messages, or any personal content.
5. Your counter increases as you consume content.
6. Review your statistics and brain status.

WHY USE BRAIN ROT METER?

Most people have no idea how many short videos they consume every day.

Brain Rot Meter turns invisible scrolling into visible numbers.

Seeing the count rise in real time can help you become more aware of your habits and make better decisions about how you spend your attention.
