Pith - Private Notes & Lists

Yiash

About this app

Pith is a notes app with one architectural promise: there is no server.

No account. No cloud sync. No analytics. No tracking of any kind. Everything you write stays on this device, always.

Write, Distraction-Free:
A fast, clean editor with markdown formatting. Tag and search your notes instantly — everything runs locally, so nothing waits on a network.

See your writing habit:
Pulse shows your streak, an activity heatmap, and notes-over-time — entirely computed on-device.

Your data:
Export everything to JSON any time, with stable IDs so re-importing never duplicates. No account needed to leave. This is the anti-lock-in promise that takes the place of cloud sync.

Built for privacy-conscious writers, journalers, and anyone who wants their notes to stay theirs — not for teams, not for sync-as-a-feature, not for plugin ecosystems. Single-player by design.

No ads. No subscription. No AI cloud calls. Just your notes.

What’s new

Sample notes on first launch, with one-tap removal.
Export now uses the system save picker. No storage permissions.
Fixes: tag sheet no longer hides tags behind the keyboard; layout clears the navigation bar on Android 15 and 16.
