About this app

Wake up for real. Brain Alarm keeps ringing until you solve a puzzle, so you can't silence it half-asleep and drift right back to sleep.

You pick the challenge and the difficulty. By the time you've solved it, your brain is switched on — and you're actually up. It's built to ring no matter what your phone's battery savers think. And there are no ads, no tracking, nothing collected.

🧠 16 ways to wake your brain
- Math — arithmetic under time pressure
- Color Memory — repeat a growing sequence
- Pairs — memory grid, from 3x3 up to 5x4
- Chimp — tap numbers in order after they vanish
- Chess — find the winning move in a real puzzle position
- Word Guess — deduce a hidden word from letter feedback
- Mole — reflex tapping
- Rectangles — split the grid so every number gets its area
- Clock Escape — read the clock face against the clock
- Tennis — keep the rally going
- Tower — move the stack in the fewest moves
- Slide — classic sliding tile puzzle
- Color — name the ink color, not the word
- Needle — stop the spinning needle in the zone
- Aim — hit shrinking targets
- Switch Off — work out which switches cut the circuit

Every challenge has its own difficulty range, from gentle to punishing.

☀️ Wake-up check
Some of us solve the puzzle, then fall straight back asleep. Turn on the optional wake-up check and a few minutes after you dismiss the alarm, the app quietly asks you to confirm you're still awake. Miss it, and the alarm comes back.

🔔 Alarms that actually ring
Brain Alarm books alarms the way Android reserves for real alarm clocks, re-schedules them after a restart, and still rings when your phone is in its deepest battery-saving sleep. Phones fight alarms: battery optimization, aggressive task-killing and notification settings vary by manufacturer and can silence an alarm without telling you. The Alarm reliability screen checks what your specific phone has switched off and walks you to the exact setting — including known quirks on Samsung, Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, Huawei, ASUS and Meizu phones.

🎵 Wake up your way
- Any ringtone, or your own audio file — with a start point you choose, so it begins on the part that actually wakes you
- Gradual volume ramp instead of an instant blast
- Snooze on your terms: set the length and how many snoozes you get, or turn snooze off entirely
- Repeat days, one-off alarms, per-alarm labels
- Vibration and haptics on or off
- Light theme, dark theme, or follow the system

🎮 More than an alarm
Play Mode lets you play all 16 challenges on demand, any time, with a personal best tracked per challenge and per difficulty. There's also a full timer and a stopwatch, so Brain Alarm can replace your phone's clock app. Set alarms and timers by voice through your phone's assistant, and back up your alarms and settings to a file you keep.

🔒 Nothing leaves your phone
Brain Alarm collects nothing at all. No account, no sign-in, no ads, no trackers, no analytics. Your alarms, records and settings stay in the app's own storage on your phone — the app doesn't even have internet access, so there's no server to send anything to.
