About this app

One Minute Pause - Reconnect with God

The One Minute Pause App is a simple way to reconnect with God in the midst of your busy day. From John Eldredge, the New York Times Bestselling Author of Wild at Heart and Captivating. Based on the One Minute Pause practice of his book Get Your Life Back and the 30 Days to Resilient program that accompanies his latest book, Resilient, this app invites you into the practice of restoring your union with God and receiving the life that he wants to offer to you, daily.

Of the apps I have installed this one is the most important right now. It is far more than a simple guided meditation app. If you do the 30 days to Resilient and really enter in to the prayers, your love for God will deepen. After doing the 30 day program twice, I now look forward to my twice a day pauses. I just figured out that there is a settings button to disable the music or voice in the standalone pauses. I'm excited to hear the team is planning to add more content!

Wonderful app, thank you! After using it for several weeks, i've noticed that the 5 minute pause has a few bugs in it. It seems to get stuck, lasting longer than 5 minutes, then it kicks me out without the normal closing ("well done" with statistics). Anyone else notice this, or is it just my phone?

I like where they are going with this app. We all need to stop and pause several times a day to gather ourselves. One thing that needs improvement is to do away with the repetitiveness. The mediations are the same recording over and over. How about recording several different audio tracks for each duration of pauses? Hearing the same one over and over is not helpful or realistic.
