Quite annoying that most of the content is loaded through an in-app instance of Chrome rather than natively in the app. I use dedicated content apps so that I can block Chrome to minimise my use of it at specific times of the day and the Rappler app breaks as a result.

Rappler is a lot of solid journalism, but more follow through to know outcomes of stories is needed and less opinion, more verifiable facts. But this apt is almost totally unusable. Constant repetitive popups block the screen and even switch away from articles currently being read. I've found it impossible to sign up for Rappler+ through this app because it won't bring up my keyboard to enter the credit card information. There is no dark mode or improvement! I'm done with it and uninstalling.

for every article you click on, it will ask you to turn cookies on (ironically), and sign up for Rappler+. Good source of news, but this app is a mess. Opening the website your phone's browser is a better experience.
