This is one of my all time favorite games (which usually leads to some ridicule when I mention it). Extremely simple base mechanics and easy to learn, but lots of room to learn more difficult movements, techniques, and complex mechanics. The MakerMall is a great addition (though it is sometimes difficult to filter out the handfull of spam-y levels). The base levels are really well designed with a signature style, and, while easy to learn, can be pushed pretty far in speed running.

This game is essentially a metroidvania. I remember playing it as a browser based flash game as a kid. Few ads, no microtravsaction spam, it's just a fun little platformer game. Excellent to kill time or play offline. A rare gem in the state of today's mobile gaming scene, you can just sit and play it, and finish it in one sitting if you want, no timers or artificial nonsense making you wait hours or days to advance and bait you into paying to speed up progress. An actual game, a gem.

A nice retro style 2D platform game ("Jump'n'Shoot"). Big levels to explore, but not very complicated in the end. Enemies & Bosses aren't very diverse and are quite mechanical & monotonous, and lack any "intelligence" so they don't make a real challenge. There are also user created levels, but I couldn't find really interesting ones. The game is ad free, and you can donate by watching ads voluntarily.
