About this app

Keep your personal media organized in an encrypted vault with SecureVault. Store photos, videos, audio and documents locally on your Android device, with PIN protection and optional biometric unlock.

Private media storage
- Import photos, videos, audio and files using your device's file picker.
- Store imported vault files with AES-256-GCM encryption.
- Browse photos and play supported videos and audio inside the vault.
- Organize your content into categories and folders.

PIN and biometric access
Create a 6-12 digit PIN to unlock your vault. On supported devices, you can also use biometric authentication. The vault locks automatically when the app goes into the background.

Optional App Lock
Choose installed apps that require authentication when opened. App Lock uses Usage Access to detect selected apps and Display over other apps permission to show its lock overlay. You can turn App Lock off at any time. Android and device manufacturer restrictions can affect its operation.

Restore or export
Recover items from Recently Deleted for up to 7 days, or permanently delete them when you choose. Export individual files up to 64 MB through the system save picker.

Local storage
Core vault features work offline, and no online account is required.

Before you import or export
Importing existing files does not delete the originals from their original location. Exporting creates an unencrypted copy outside the vault.

Uninstalling SecureVault or clearing its app data removes the local vault. Keep a separate copy of important files before doing either.

What’s new

• Added a Home lock option in Settings to manage protection for Photos and other selected apps.
• PIN setup now focuses the confirmation field automatically after you tap Next.
• After an update has been available for seven days, updating becomes required to continue using the vault.
