The digital city tour allows you to explore the historic center of Wiedenbrück on your own. The various information is displayed on the building facades to learn more about the past of the city.
So far, about 30 historical objects in Rheda and Wiedenbrück have been part of this digital city tour.
You can decide for yourself which building you would like to have a look at. On the map there is an overview of the locations to which you can navigate. Once you are in front of the selected building, the "house scan" button allows you to view the digital content.
In addition to the information texts, which can also be read by a speaker, there are numerous picture galleries, videos, animations, small games and 3D elements.
And if you are not on site, you still have the opportunity to look at the information about the buildings under the menu item "List of objects".
The app uses your GPS location and augmented reality technology to present the digital content, which requires access to location services and the camera. All content is of course free.
