About this app

RavnWMS is a warehouse management application developed for teams working in the warehouse area. All tasks such as placement, transfer, receiving, dispatch, counting, and customer order picking are performed from the handheld terminal.

OPERATES OFFLINE
It is common for corridors in the warehouse building to lack signal. RavnWMS downloads product and stock data to the device; screens are read from this local data. When the connection is lost, the movements are queued on the device and automatically sent when the connection is restored. Each movement carries a unique transaction ID, so resending does not create duplicate records.

BARCODE SCANNING
Products and shelf addresses are scanned with the device's camera. A product can have both unit and carton barcodes; the application recognizes the unit of the scanned barcode and converts the entered quantity to the base unit expected by the server. If the unit or coefficient is unclear, no conversion is performed, and the quantity is requested in the base unit.

• Placement — placing products received from goods receipt onto the shelf

• Dispatch — goods leaving the warehouse
• Inventory — shelf-based inventory and discrepancy tracking
• Order Picking — taking over customer orders from the pool and picking them line by line
• Query — querying products and shelf contents
• Barcode Identification — assigning barcodes to products without barcodes

EXPIRY DATE CHECK (FEFO)
If there is an older lot during dispensing and order picking, a warning is given. If the server is unreachable, the check is performed with the last synchronization data on the device, and
it is clearly stated on the screen that the result is an estimate.

PRODUCT IMAGES
Cover photos are displayed in product lists; images are cached on the device,
so they are visible even when offline.

SECURITY
The device is identified with a password upon first use; a 4-digit PIN
is sufficient for subsequent startups. The PIN is not stored or compared on the device; The session key is derived from the PIN.
After five incorrect attempts, the device registration is deleted and the password is requested again.
The application is locked at shift changes and no password is requested.

WHO IS IT FOR?
RavnWMS is an enterprise application and is used by employees of a business that has a RavnWMS server installed.
Usage requires an account assigned to you by your business; new accounts cannot be created from within the application.
