About this app

Palette Town is the brand-identity workshop that fits in your pocket.

Build a palette, try a typeface, gather both under a brand — and compare your directions in seconds instead of opening desktop software.

COLOURS
Generate harmonies that work from a base colour: complementary, analogous, triadic, monochromatic. Tune every swatch with the HSL picker, read the hex code, swap a shade without rebuilding the palette.

CONTRAST, CHECKED
The WCAG contrast ratio is computed for every pair. You know straight away whether your text stays readable, before the mockup ships.

FONTS
Browse the Google Fonts catalogue, preview a heading and a paragraph in the typeface you have in mind, keep the ones you like. Heading and body pairings are judged by eye, not from a list of names.

YOUR BRANDS
A project brings a palette and its fonts together. Your brands sit side by side, ready to be reused or branched.

SHARE
Export a palette to drop it into a message, a note or a design tool.

A COMPONENT CATALOGUE
As a bonus, a library of live demos: Android's main Jetpack Compose and View components, plus haptic feedback, to handle for real.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
No account, no sign-up. Your projects and palettes live on the device.

FREE
Palette Town is free, funded by discreet ads. The ""Remove ads"" purchase takes them away for good; the support subscription does the same and helps the studio keep going.
Swatches, harmonies, WCAG contrast and Google Fonts. Your brand kit in hand.
