About this game

"Cytus II" is a music rhythm game created by Rayark Games. It's our fourth rhythm game title, following the footsteps of three global successes, "Cytus", "DEEMO" and "VOEZ". This sequel to "Cytus" brings back the original staff and is a product of hardwork and devotion.

In the future, humans have redefined internet development and connections. We can now easily sync the real world with the internet world, changing life as we have known for thousands of years.

In the mega virtual internet space cyTus, there exists a mysterious DJ legend Æsir. His music has an irresistible charm; people fall madly in love with his music. Rumor has it that every note and beat of his music hits the audiences in
the depths of their souls.

One day, Æsir, who had never shown his face before, suddenly announced that he will be holding the first mega virtual concert —— Æsir-FEST and will invite a top idol singer and a popular DJ as opening performances. The instant the ticket sales began, an unprecedented rush occurred. Everyone wanted to see Æsir's real face.

On the day of the FEST, millions of people were connected to the event. At one hour before the event started, the previous world record for most simultaneous connection was smashed. The whole city was on its feet, waiting for Æsir to descent from the skies...

Ratings and reviews

A truly great game only surpassed by it's story and implementation of it! However, the fact that I need to grind (exp) for furthering of the story line sucks in my opinion, especially because crystal punk needs tons of levels but even on level 20 has less than paff, robohead or neko had. I would recommend a tracking of score of sorts, so that if enough is reached(meaning quality of each song matters, not how often you repeated it) you level up. Else a great game!

I really, really enjoyed playing this game. The gameplay is interesting and I regret not one cent I spent on it. (I unlocked every character and a few song packs) The story really caught me and there is only one thing, I will never forgive: all those loose ends in the end of the main Story (and ConneR, the one I finished from the bought ones,) are the most evil cliffhangers I ever experienced. But nevertheless, the game is just great.

Music really slaps, the animation quality is great. I don't like the tap mechanic in particular, my hands keep covering the screen playing on phone, obstructing the view causing awkward reactions to inputs. Also, sync options seem oddly limited, with Bluetooth headset I cannot get it right to align with the music correctly.
