Ratings and reviews

This app is a waste of time. Often old articles from days ago are still the featured headlines when you open the app. The vast majority of the printed news is merely cut and paste from the associated press (the voice for the printed lamestream media). The local writing is typically on a junior high school level. And articles from months ago are run near the middle and lower parts of the page as though the news is still relevant.

The app notifications do not function properly. I've disabled every type of notification in-app yet it still sends them. They weren't sending many until the most recent app updates but now it's many a day about stuff that barely qualifies as "news". I'll have to revoke access at the android level. Walb has been in a nose dive in quality for a while overall. They don't even bother to proofread the article titles anymore let alone the content.

I downloaded the update a month ago and it seems I had a virus on my phone from this one app. It would never load the story I wanted to read. I finally had to delete the app and I had to download Fox31 to get my local news. I've asked others about having problems with this new update and they have had problems too
