I am about to delete this app for very nearly being malware. When I open a story a loud (compared to other apps) video ad plays (imagine this in public), with no way short of closing the app to stop it (maybe 1 in 4 eventually get a skip button). This is followed by an equally loud video that doesn't always relate to the story (often with broken controls). Further, the app faces my phone to stay awake, sometimes even when the app is only in the background, presumably so I can "enjoy" the ad.

I've enjoyed using this app for the last 10-15 years to watch/livestream the newscasts when out of state. this new version belongs in rhe barnyard manure pile. trying to watch a newscast is an exercise in frustration -- more ads than program while I get 10-20 seconds of story before I get more ads. PLEASE FIX. I'd like to see an entire story rather than the current 1st sentence or partial two before getting ad.

To complicated older version was better EDIT somehow it's even worse now videos start auto playing and you can't pause them
