About this game

Preferans (Преферанс) is a classic three-player trick-taking card game,
much loved across Russia, Ukraine, the Balkans, Greece, and beyond. It is
related to Bridge and the older European game Vist (Whist), but stands on
its own thanks to its distinctive bidding ladder, the Miser contract, and
the cooperative-defense logic of "Whist" play.

This app lets you play Preferans against two computer opponents on your
phone or tablet, anywhere, no internet needed.

FEATURES

• Full Sochi-rules engine: bidding from 6♠ through 10NT, Miser, all-pass
rounds (raspasovka), Stalingrad, Gentleman/Boorish whist, progressive
pass bidding — all configurable in Settings.

• Two AI opponents to choose from. The classic rule-based bot ships on
by default; flip "Stronger Bots (Experimental)" in Settings to enable
a new ISMCTS (Monte Carlo Tree Search) bot that looks several tricks
ahead and plays more deceptively.

• Built for modern Android. Material 3 design with full dark-mode
support. Edge-to-edge layout. Works in both portrait and landscape,
on phones and tablets.

• 100% offline. No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no analytics, no
internet permission. Your local high-score history stays on your
device only.

• English and Russian language interfaces.

• Tiny download (under 3 MB) — works on Android 5.0 and up.
