About this app

The RCI Bank App has been designed to help make saving even simpler, and it’s more convenient to manage your award-winning RCI Bank savings account on the go.

Our App features include:

• Access to your accounts quickly and securely using touch ID, facial recognition or PIN to log in.
• Check your savings account balances and view your recent transaction history including interest statements.
• Make withdrawals from your savings account to your linked account.
• Update your email address, home address, and contact number
• Update your marketing preferences
• Manage your maturity options
• Request a User ID reminder
• Reset your password
• Find help in our support section.

How to register for the App:

You'll need to be an existing RCI Bank customer with an existing RCI savings account.

1. Open the App and confirm that you’re an existing customer; or open a new account if you're not an existing customer by visiting www.rcibank.co.uk.
2. Enter your online RCI Bank username and password (if you've forgotten your User ID you can request a reminder at this point);
3. Provide the requested characters from your security question;
4. Create and confirm your 6-digit app PIN;
5. Enable Touch ID, PIN or facial recognition (if supported on your device);
6. Review and agree to the Terms & Conditions;
7. You can then access the app and view your savings account(s).

• The RCI Bank App is only available to UK residents aged 18 years and older.
• The features available to you on the App are dependent on the type of account you hold with us.
• An internet connection is required to access the App. Please be mindful that data charges may apply.
• The ways in which you can use the App may be controlled by the rules and policies of the app store you downloaded the App from (for example, Apple’s App Store and Android’s Google Play).

I only opened an account today. It was easy to do online. I had one query, and my phone call was answered promptly. They were very friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to getting 4.65% interest on an easy access account. We'll done RCI ✔️.

The app has a clean and easy to use interface. It has all the basic features you would expect. You CAN copy the pay-in bank account details, like the account number or the reference, but the app does not make this obvious. On that I mean there is no feedback confirming the copying worked with a single tap. This is a bit annoying, so I've informed the developers.

Initial thoughts are that this is quite good, for basic stuff much quicker than going online. I wanted to set a payment for a few days ahead but unfortunately there is no option to choose the payment date so had to go online anyway. At the minute I think this is a useful quick balance check app but even as that it saves time.
