The Validation Process
When a passenger presents their digital ticket at the ferry terminal, the validation process happens instantly:

A ferry attendant uses a specialized electronic scanner or a mobile device with a scanning application.

The scanner reads the QR code and decodes the unique identifier.

This identifier is sent to the central database in real-time.

The database immediately performs a series of checks:

Authenticity: Does this QR code exist in the system?

Validity: Is the ticket valid for today's date and the correct route?

Single-Use Check: Has this ticket already been scanned and used for entry?

If all checks pass, the database sends back a confirmation to the scanner, and the passenger is granted access. If any of the checks fail, the system alerts the attendant, preventing unauthorized entry.
