Read 21 is a powerful, easy-to-use reading app designed to help users 6+ master the fundamentals of reading in only 21 days. Designed for elementary to adults, Read 21 works for all ages. Built on the Science of Reading, Read 21 guides learners through a step-by-step journey using phonics, combination sounds, and decoding strategies to build strong, confident readers.

Our innovative speech recognition feature uses your internal microphone to read aloud, offering instant feedback to increase fluency. No fancy equipment needed. We never store voice recordings in our mobile app. Your privacy is important to us.

Stay engaged with fun, timed reading challenges that can be selected when you’re ready. For English as a second language, Read 21 is a great tool for you too. It provides language, literacy, education that is unique in its delivery. It is created by a former top teacher that believes everyone should know how to read. Read 21 is designed for everyone.

The first 4 lessons are free. It gives you the ability to read simple sentences.
To understand more standard text, you will need lessons 5-21. They require a monthly subscription of $8.99 per month through our In-app purchase. The subscription can be cancelled anytime. Most users will read at the 3rd grade level or above when they finish our 21 lessons.
