Listen to your PDFs and ebooks, follow the text, and pick up where you left off.

Read-Aloud combines a comfortable document reader with text-to-speech. Listen while you walk, commute or give your eyes a break. Turn a long reading session into listening time—or hide the player and simply read.

FROM DOCUMENT TO LISTENING

• Import PDF, EPUB, DOCX, ODT, RTF and TXT files, or paste text
• Review an extracted sample and detected chapters before listening
• Start with your installed Android text-to-speech voice—no chapter preparation or cloud API key required
• Follow narration with a subtle passage highlight, then return to your saved reading position
• Listen in the background and control playback from the notification player

FIND YOUR PLACE, KEEP YOUR FOCUS

Search with contextual results and document-position markers. Browse chapters, save a bookmark, select and copy text, or start narration from a chosen word. Use the focus timer for reading and break intervals. Choose your font, text size and colour theme for a comfortable reading view.

YOUR CHOICE OF NARRATION

Android speech lets you change voice, speed, pitch, pacing and volume while listening. Voice quality and offline availability depend on the speech engine and voices installed on your device.

For optional cloud voices, connect official Google Cloud Text-to-Speech or Microsoft Azure neural speech using your own provider credentials. Hear a sample, prepare selected chapters, or save as you go. Reuse matching saved narration and export supported audio without regenerating those passages.

Cloud services are optional and are not included in the app purchase. They may charge for generated speech; the app asks for confirmation before actions that can use paid API quota. Provider terms, pricing and availability apply. Live generation may pause while audio is being prepared.

OPTIONAL QUESTION MODE

Read a question, think through your response, then reveal its hidden answer. Question Mode is designed for consistently labelled material: “Question 1” before a prompt and “Answer 1” or “Answer:” before its answer.

Detection uses local rules, not advanced AI. Other layouts may work, but unprepared or inconsistently structured material cannot be guaranteed. Review the detected question and answer boundaries before relying on the mode.

NO ADS. NO APP ACCOUNT.

Documents, reading history, bookmarks and saved audio are stored on your device. There is no developer-operated tracking. Cloud narrators receive the text and credentials required for the requests you approve. Your installed Android speech engine controls whether its own processing is local or online.

Google Play services may receive limited OCR performance and diagnostic data, but not OCR images or recognised text. If you choose to submit a Play rating or review, Google handles it through its own review interface.

Extraction, OCR and synthetic speech can make mistakes. Check important details against the original. No ebooks are included.
