ReadKeep is a free reading app that turns your phone into a place to read, listen and learn — with no ads, no subscription and no account.

Download free classics, open your own PDFs and EPUBs, or photograph the pages of a paper book. Then read them, have them read to you in a natural voice, or translate them into your language, page by page, right on your phone.

READ ANYTHING
• Free books from Project Gutenberg, Standard Ebooks, Wikisource and the Internet Archive — search, see covers and page counts, and download only what you want.
• Open your own EPUB and PDF files. Big files show up on your shelf at once and keep importing in the background.
• Scan the pages of a paper book with your camera. The text is recognised on your phone (English, हिन्दी and more), so you can read, search and listen to it.
• Page numbers, contents and "find in this book" for every kind of book.

LISTEN WHILE YOU READ
• Natural voices that run on your phone for English and हिन्दी, plus every voice your phone already has.
• The words light up as they're spoken, and the page turns by itself.
• Pick your speed, pause, skip back a sentence. Works offline once a voice is downloaded.

READ IN YOUR LANGUAGE
• Translate any book into 50+ languages, page by page, as you read. Translation happens on your phone — your text is never uploaded.
• One tap switches back to the original, and you can listen to the translation too.

TRACK YOUR READING — PAPER BOOKS TOO
• Add paper books by barcode, search or by hand. Adding a book always works, even when a lookup comes up empty.
• A reading timer that survives the app closing, pages per hour and a "finish by" estimate.
• A streak worked out from the reading you log — there's no fragile counter to lose.
• Goals for books per year and minutes per day, a calendar of the covers you read, and summary cards to share.
• Gentle daily reminders, if you want them.

FREE, AND YOURS
• No ads, ever. No subscription. Every feature is free.
• No account. Your books and notes stay on your phone; back them up to a file (JSON or CSV) whenever you like.
• An optional tip helps an independent developer. It unlocks nothing — everything is already yours.

Good to know: natural voices (about 64 MB each) and translation packs (about 30 MB per language) download once, then work offline. The app sends anonymous usage and crash reports so it can be fixed and improved.
