About this app

App is now live in the Greater London area, alongside the Plymouth and Torquay area, National rollout coming soon.

Gone for Good allows you to donate those items you no longer need to the charities and good causes that are close to you.

With a simple photograph of the item along with some other basic information, you can choose from Charities in your area who will come and collect from you and sell it through their shop networks. Anything from furniture or white goods to the bag of clothes from clearing out your wardrobe, these items provide important funding for the causes the Charities support as well as re-using your items and preventing them from going to landfill.

We are trialling the app in the Plymouth and Torquay area at the moment with a national rollout following very soon.

The service does not cost you anything. By using it you help good causes and increase sustainability. If you are charity that would like to be involved, please contact us at info@goneforgood.co.uk

I used this app/service before Christmas and it was brilliant from beginning to end. Not being able to use it recently I emailed the contact address I had and was very sorry to be told that the scheme has had to close which I guess is why the app no longer works. Shame because it's a fantastic idea.

Really good idea let down by whatever's going on in the background. I added photos, said I could do gift aid, gave descriptions of the items I wanted collected. When I was contacted about a collection date I was being asked what I was donating and whether I could gift aid it or not once again. What's the point of the app if it doesn't pass on the information you've collected.

This App appears to be closed down. It is impossible to get past the photo stage and emails get bounced back. Don't waste your time downloading it

What's new

Re-released for the Torquay and Plymouth trial, more areas coming soon.
