The aim of creating the "Tea Hunt '' mobile application is to spread all the information about tea and the culture of tea in the global market by digitalizing this industry.

Besides, the planters need to collect a lot of information for tea plantations, which can be easily obtained through this application. Just as "Tea Hunt" has simplified and digitized the tea industry, it is also trying to develop tea, the world's agricultural commodity. Billions of users around the world are able to receive services from "Tea Hunt". Tea Hunt Founder: Tea Hunt is founded by an army officer Major General Ashraful Islam ( NDC, PSC) , who transformed the tea industry of Bangladesh after becoming the chairman of the Bangladesh Tea Board. He has not only digitized the tea industry of Bangladesh, but he has also dreamed of dedicating Tea Hunt to the tea industry stakeholders of the world so that all the tea warriors can access all the information and services of tea, even if they are sitting at their homes!

Founder's Biography:
Major General Md. Ashraful Islam, NDC, PSC Chairman, Bangladesh Tea Board Major General Md. Ashraful Islam, NDC, PSC joined as Chairman of Bangladesh Tea Board on July 14, 2021. He was working as Senior Directing Staff at National Defense College before joining Bangladesh Tea Board. Major General Md Ashraful Islam passed SSC and HSC with merit from Rangpur Cadet College. He was commissioned in the 21st BMA Long Term Course in Engineers Corps on 22 December 1989 and joined the 5 RE Battalion, Postogola Cantonment. During his long professional career, he has served with great skill and success in important and multi-dimensional command, staff, and training assignments of the Bangladesh Army.



He has worked in various engineering units of the Bangladesh Army. He served as the Divisional Engineer Battalion Commander in Comilla Cantonment. He successfully served as Chief Engineer in the Army Welfare Organization, Director of Works in Army Headquarters, and Engineer Advisor in the Ministry of Defence. He served as General Staff Officer-1 in the Army Training and Doctrine Command (ARTDOC), Planning Officer in Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), DAA QMG in 14 Independent Engineer Brigade, and Garrison Engineer (GE) in Chittagong Cantonment.
