Unpin Please is a puzzle game about taking plates off a board.
Each plate is held by one screw. Drag the plate along its slot and the screw slides toward the open end. When it gets there the plate comes loose. Get every plate loose and the level is done.
The part that makes it a puzzle is that loose plates don't disappear. They stay on the board and you have to move them around by hand. If you free the wrong plate first, it ends up sitting in the way of the next one, and there's no putting a screw back. So you have to think about the order, and about where you leave things.
Levels start simple and get pretty tight. Later on the board is almost full and the last few plates only come out if everything else has been pushed into exactly the right spot.
Features:
- Boards in lots of shapes: corridors, rooms with doors, crosses, spirals, rings
- Plates of different sizes, including long ones and bent ones that turn as they slide
- Some levels are built on a diagonal, with angled walls and angled plates
- You can slide a plate part way and leave it there, which is often the trick
- A timer on each level
- Every level has a solution. Nothing is random and nothing depends on luck
If you like sliding block puzzles or unblock-style games and want something with a bit more going on, give it a try.
