About this app

Recall lets you summarize any online content and save it to your personal knowledge base. You can summarize the following:

▶️ YouTube videos
📰 Articles
🎙️ Podcasts
📄 PDFs
👩‍🍳 Recipes
🎥 Movie and TV series lists
or any other webpages

The summaries get automatically categorized in your own personal knowledge base making them easy to find again. What’s more, the saved summaries also get automatically linked with other related content you have saved in the past, helping you find connections in the content you consume and resurface past content when it is most relevant.

Recall also helps you review and consolidate the knowledge stored in your knowledge base. It uses scientifically backed techniques known as Spaced Repetition and Active Recall to resurface your saved content at optimal intervals, enhancing your long-term retention of information.

Almost Perfect This completely got me to switch from Pocket. I love that it uses AI in a more intentional way of enhancing reading and watching and note taking rather than replacing it. My only request is for an option to have the article read allowed as I sometimes will listen to articles saved while I'm driving, working out, walking or doing chores. besides that I'm really enjoying it so far.

Vital to for students, teachers, and the lifelong learners that make up the rest of us. Excellent way to collect all the articles, videos, PDFs, and other content with ideas you can only hope to otherwise retain. And the team (via Discord) is constantly announcing new improvements. I'm not just a daily user, I'm emotionally invested in everything this tool will grow into being. And wowed daily with what it currently is.

Goodbye Pocket, hello Recall! I had a ton of saved articles in Pocket, so I was a little stressed when I heard they were shutting down. I knew I'd find a replacement, I figured instapaper. Then I saw an article mentioning Recall, it looked like there were some great features, so I gave it a try. This is the best note taking, article saving app, with AI, that I have found. The free version has everything I need right now, I'll see if the paid features are something I'd use. Highly recommended!
