About this app

Built for face blindness & new-name overload. If you struggle to put names to faces — whether it's prosopagnosia, a new job, teaching, healthcare, or just meeting a lot of people — Recognote is a calm place to keep them straight.

Private by design. No account. No cloud. Your photos, names, and notes never leave your phone. Back up and restore with a single file, whenever you choose.

How it works

Add a person: photo, name, and any hint that helps you remember (where you met, a detail, tags).
Sort people into colorful folders — a class, a team, a client list.
Search across everyone, or filter by folder and tag, in a moment.
Quiz yourself, gently — hide names and tap to reveal. No streaks, no pressure, no scores.
What Recognote is not. It's not a social network, not a contact syncer, not a spaced-repetition drill. It's a quiet, personal memory aid — yours alone.

Free to try. Add up to 10 people across 2 folders at no cost — a small banner ad helps support the app while you try it. Recognote Pro is a one-time purchase that removes ads and unlocks unlimited people and folders. No subscription.
