Life Recorder is a retroactive voice recorder: it listens quietly in the background and lets you save the last few minutes of audio - AFTER the moment has passed. A funny thing your kid said, a sudden idea, an important detail from a call - tap Save and it's yours.

Perfect as a meeting recorder, lecture or interview recorder, or for quick voice notes and memos - like a rewind button for sound, with speech-to-text built in.

HOW IT WORKS
Start the recorder once. It keeps a rolling buffer of the recent past. When something worth keeping happens, save it with one tap - from the app, the notification, or the home screen widget - and the last minutes become a recording. Nothing else is kept.

YOUR PRIVACY COMES FIRST
Everything stays on your device. Recordings never leave your device unless you turn on Google Drive backup to your own Drive, and only audio you explicitly save is kept - the rest is continuously discarded. Even transcription runs entirely on your device.

I use it alot and it works wonderfully 10/10 would 100% recommend

Why is there not a widget for the app? Until you become familiar with the app it's not always clear if it's actually recording or not. That's my only complaints but love the concept.

would've easily given this a good review but the premium version is on a subscription model. let people buy your product outright.
