Many knitters experience a lack of a full or half-key yarn to complete their project.

The ReCraft app is a marketplace where you can share, buy and sell yarn leftovers. The marketplace has been developed so that you can search both broadly for a particular color or yarn quality but also more specifically for a specific yarn from a manufacturer in a particular color. As a seller, you therefore have the option of making either a specific advertisement if you have the information about the yarn, or a non-specific advertisement if you lack the details or just want to sell a quantity of mixed yarn. The trade and exchange of the yarn takes place directly between the users in a messaging function.

In the marketplace, you can be inspired - here are ads that have yarn for an entire project, but also ads with leftovers that can give rise to the next leftover knit.

We hope that ReCraft can help knitters, by sharing yarn with each other, can make knitting more sustainable as well as unite knitters with the yarn remnants they are just missing.
