Recruited.SPOTLIGHT is a mobile-first platform that helps student-athletes and creatives become “recruit-ready” and discoverable in one place. Designed by a former Division I athlete, coach, and educator, it simplifies the chaotic recruiting and audition process by organizing a student’s film, portfolio, academics, and story into a single, professional profile.
Students (or their parents) can create a dynamic profile that showcases video clips, performance footage, stats, GPA, test scores, schedules, awards, and a short personal bio. For creatives, the same profile supports reels, recordings, visual art, scripts, choreography, and production credits. Guided prompts walk users through what to upload and how to present it, so families don’t need to be recruiting experts to make their student stand out.
A built-in Readiness Tracker breaks the journey into clear, age-appropriate tasks: building highlight reels or audition tapes, emailing coaches and directors, registering with eligibility or audition platforms, organizing recommendations, and tracking applications. Students can mark tasks complete, see what’s next, and get gentle nudges to stay on track.
Discovery tools make it easy for coaches, college programs, and organizations to search and filter by sport or discipline, position or focus area, grad year, GPA, location, and other key criteria. Instead of juggling links and spreadsheets, decision-makers can quickly review a student’s full picture and save or follow profiles of interest.
Recruited.SPOTLIGHT supports both individual and institutional use. Students and families can sign up on their own, while schools, districts, and clubs can onboard entire rosters or ensembles, giving all students—not just the most connected—access to the same professional tools. Program leaders gain a dashboard view of their students’ profiles and progress, helping them advocate more effectively.
