About this app

HOG Link turns an Android phone or tablet into a flexible companion surface for compatible Hog lighting systems.

Import a Hog XML export to bring show context into the app. Imported palettes, fixtures, patch information, Cuelists, cues, Scenes, Batches, playback assignments, and colors can drive searchable directories, reference tools, and faster setup without changing the Hog show.

Save separate Show Profiles for different productions. A profile keeps HOG Link's imported data, palette and directory choices, Primary Pages, Workstation assignments, and local customization together. Show Profiles do not replace normal Hog show backups.

One phone or tablet can act as the Primary Bridge. Trusted Secondary devices discover and securely pair with it, receive shared show information and assigned Workstation pages, and operate without adding another OSC destination to Hog. This also makes temporary access practical: join the same Wi-Fi, pair with the established Primary, and avoid repeatedly changing Hog or phone IP settings.

HOG Link is an independent application and is not produced, endorsed, or supported by ETC or High End Systems. Always test on a safe show and maintain normal console backups. OSC feedback available from Hog can be incomplete; the app labels local estimates and stale feedback rather than presenting them as console-confirmed state.

Closed Beta 2 is time-limited. Install updates from Google Play before relying on the app for testing.
