Want to know how fast you really react? Reflex Lab is a reaction time test built like a lab instrument. Three short tests measure your reactions in milliseconds, and the app records every session so you can see how your numbers move from day to day. It is made for gamers, athletes and anyone curious about their own reflexes.
The whole app is a dark instrument panel with neon accents: square panels, a fine measurement grid and big digital readouts. Each test fills the screen, so nothing gets between your finger and the result.
KEY FEATURES
• Color Flash – the screen waits, then flashes hot pink after a random delay of 1.5 to 4.5 seconds. Tap as fast as you can. A session is 5 valid attempts, scored by the median, with your fastest single attempt shown too.
• False start detection – tap too early and the attempt is void with a "Too soon" message. Three false starts end the session.
• Target Aim – 10 square targets appear one at a time at random positions. Hit each one as quickly as you can. A miss adds 100 ms to that target, and your result is the average time per target, with hits and misses listed.
• Sequence – a 4 x 4 grid holds the numbers 1 to 16 in random places. Tap them in ascending order as fast as possible. A wrong tap adds 0.5 seconds, and your result is the total time shown to two decimals.
• Calibration – on first launch you choose your dominant hand and react to 3 warm-up flashes. The median becomes your baseline, shown on the hub as an oscilloscope-style readout. You can recalibrate from Settings at any time.
• Frame-accurate timing – the stimulus time is taken from the frame that first shows it, and your response from the touch event, so the reaction is measured in whole milliseconds.
• Daily and personal bests – every test keeps the best result of the day and your all-time personal best with its date. A new personal best is highlighted on the result screen.
• Result screen – a large readout, a bar for each attempt or target, best markers and a mini chart of your last 14 sessions for that test.
• History – pick a test and see a 30-day line chart of your daily best in pink, with a 7-day rolling median in cyan, plus a list of each session with its date, result and attempt details.
• Hand-aware layout – the Start button and test controls move towards your dominant hand, left or right.
• Haptics – an optional short tick on every touch during a test. Switch it on or off in Settings.
• Clear history – wipe your sessions whenever you like, protected by a double confirmation. Your calibration is kept.
HOW IT WORKS
Calibrate the lab: pick your hand and react to three warm-up flashes to set your baseline.
Choose a test on the hub and tap Start. The test area takes over the entire screen.
React as fast as you can. Your result appears with every attempt broken down.
Open History to follow your daily bests and the 7-day median over the last 30 days.
PERFECT FOR
• Gamers who want to compare their reaction speed from one session to the next
• Athletes who like to track reflexes as part of their warm-up routine
• Anyone who wants to see their own reaction speed as a precise number
Results depend on your device's screen and touch latency, so compare your numbers on the same phone. Reflex Lab is not a medical or diagnostic test. It measures and records reaction times, nothing more.
Reflex Lab is for teens and adults who like precise numbers and clean tools. Open the lab, run a test and see how many milliseconds it takes you to react.
