Fourth Down Reflex is a fast reaction game built around directional accuracy, timing, and increasingly demanding decisions. The main game screen displays an arrow pointing in one of four directions: up, down, left, or right. The player must swipe in the direction shown by the arrow before the timer reaches zero.
At the beginning of a run, the available time is set to 5 seconds. Every correct reaction adds 1 point to the current score while also making the next decision more demanding. After each successful action, the available time is reduced by 0.5 seconds, with the countdown stopping at a minimum limit of 1 second.
Fourth Down Reflex follows a simple input rule: observe the displayed direction, react with the matching swipe, and continue while the remaining time allows it. Accuracy is essential because an incorrect swipe immediately ends the current game. The run also ends if the player does not complete the required swipe before the timer expires.
Each successful directional response contributes exactly 1 point. The score therefore reflects the number of correct reactions completed during the run. As the available response time becomes shorter, every new arrow requires quicker execution and continued attention.
Fourth Down Reflex keeps the gameplay structure focused on a clear cycle: display a direction, perform the matching swipe, reduce the available response time, and repeat. The increasing time pressure creates a progressively faster sequence of decisions without adding extra rules to the core interaction.
When the run ends, the achieved result is recorded in Records only when the score is greater than 0. Fourth Down Reflex is centered on straightforward controls and a clearly defined objective: respond to each displayed direction correctly before the available time runs out.
Test your reflexes and follow the arrow before time runs out.
