ReFoundMe – a smart, social lost & found network..
Today’s lost & found system is outdated, inefficient and unreliable for everyone involved – from finders to owners to service desks.
ReFoundMe introduces a new social approach that makes sure lost items safely and easily find their way back to their owner.
How it works
Attach a ReFoundMe QR code to anything you don’t want to lose – from your laptop, bike, or water bottle to toys, wallet, clothes, keys, or backpack. This instantly makes it traceable in our network.
Item Wallet – register and manage your items in the app. Add a photo, name and category, and select who should be contacted if the item is found.
Contact method – set your preferred way of being contacted: the finder will see a simple menu after scanning the code.
Found item – you’ll receive a notification in your inbox with the location and the finder’s message.
Pick-up code – have your item safely dropped off at a ReFoundMe Hub. By showing the QR code in your app, you (or someone on your behalf) can pick it up again.
Found an item?
Scan the code with your phone’s camera, or use the ReFoundMe app to verify it’s an original QR code. You can share the location completely anonymously or contact the owner directly.
Prefer not to contact the owner? No problem. The app or website will show nearby ReFoundMe Hubs where you can safely leave the item – and they’ll take care of the rest.
