About this app

PlantLux works by using the light sensor on you phone to measure lux, which is the official measurement for light intensity on a surface. The app also contains a vast number of common and uncommon houseplants and their recommended lux values, and lets you easily search to look up your plant.

The app is made as simple and user-friendly as possible with no nonsense, just straight to the point measure and look-up. It has a function for measuring the average value in a given period and then saving that value, so it's easier to remember the value when searching for plants. For the price of a small coffee you can unlock the ad-free "PlantLuxPro" version that frees up some space in the search list.

This app is made after request from my girlfriend, but I hope this app is useful for every plant-lover out there :)

Great app! If you're a plant enthusiast you're going to want this one. Easy to use, simple and convenient. I was looking for something to help determine if my plants were getting sufficient lighting or not. This was about the 3rd app I tried and it was exactly what I was looking for. Even though the paid version doesn't give you any additional features it's a very small price to pay to say thanks for a great easy to use and very handy app. Well done!

Thank you! Great tool to get an idea, whether my plants are getting enough light or not, had to move some plants around. Gives me a better idea than the generic information shade /partial sun etc that my plants come with.

It's really useful to know where at my home I can place plants with different light requirements. note: Can you please add nemathantus to the list?
