About this app

Relok helps you turn distraction into revision.

Choose the apps that pull you away from studying, such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or games. When you open a selected app, Relok asks you to complete a short revision quiz before you earn access.

Instead of only blocking your phone, Relok gives you a quick reason to practise what you are learning.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Create a quiz card for any subject.
2. Add your own questions and answers, or import an existing Anki, CSV or text file.
3. Select the apps you want Relok to restrict.
4. Choose how many questions to answer and how long the app should unlock for.
5. Complete the quiz to earn your time.

STUDY YOUR WAY

• Create multiple-choice revision questions with 3 answer options.
• Let Relok generate two plausible wrong answers in the background.
• Use Flashcards for quick revision without starting a blocking session.
• Add images to questions for diagrams, maps, formulae and visual topics.
• Import existing Anki decks (.apkg and .colpkg), CSV files and question-and-answer text files.
• Rename, edit and organise your quiz cards whenever you need.

BUILD BETTER STUDY HABITS

• Pick a short unlock duration from 1 to 60 minutes.
• Choose a small number of questions for each unlock session.
• Use all questions in your chosen cards as the revision pool, without having to answer the whole deck at once.
• Answer choices are shuffled each time, so you cannot memorise a button position.
• Track your daily questions completed and your study streak.

Relok is designed for students who want to stop automatically opening distracting apps and start making small, useful progress throughout the day.

Relok uses Android usage access and display-over-other-apps permission to detect the apps you choose to restrict and show a revision quiz. You stay in control: choose which apps to block, choose your quiz settings and turn the feature off whenever you want.
