Mother and Child Diary helps pregnant women, mothers and families organise pregnancy, delivery, postnatal and child-care information in one convenient app.

PREGNANCY TRACKING

• View the current pregnancy week and day
• See trimester and expected delivery date
• Read week-by-week baby development information
• View baby size comparisons and animated guidance
• Maintain blood group, height and latest weight

REMINDERS

• Add medicine and appointment reminders
• Receive alerts for PNC checks and vaccinations
• Open the relevant update screen from a reminder
• Completed reminders are removed after updating the record

VACCINATION DIARY

• View the child vaccination schedule by age and week
• Understand the purpose of important vaccines
• See expected dates calculated from the child’s date of birth
• Record vaccination dates after each dose
• Add vaccines received at government or private facilities
• Edit incorrectly entered vaccination records

DELIVERY AND POSTNATAL CARE

• Record delivery date and time
• Select Normal Delivery, C-Section or Abortion
• Maintain baby birth and delivery details
• Track PNC checks for the mother and newborn
• Record whether breast milk was given
• Receive PNC reminders until the visit is updated

CHILD GROWTH DIARY

• Record the child’s date of birth
• Add weight and length after growth checks
• Continue maintaining growth updates over time
• View previous growth and child-care records

REPORTS AND EDITING

• View pregnancy, delivery, PNC, growth and vaccination records
• Edit previously entered information
• Replace incorrect records with corrected information
• Share a report only when you choose to do so

HEALTH DEPARTMENT CONTACTS

Save and activate a Doctor, MLHP, ANM, ASHA worker or another trusted medical contact. Only active saved contacts are displayed and can be called directly from the app.

TELE-MANAS SUPPORT

Pregnancy may sometimes bring stress, fear, sadness, loneliness, family pressure, sleep problems or overwhelming thoughts.

Tele-MANAS provides free 24×7 tele-mental-health support. Call 14416 or 1800-89-14416, choose a preferred language and speak with a trained counsellor.

Tele-MANAS is not an ambulance. For immediate self-harm risk, severe bleeding, fits, breathing difficulty, unconsciousness or another life-threatening emergency, call 112 or 108 and seek hospital care immediately.

The app supports English, Telugu and Hindi.

PRIVACY

Pregnancy and child-care records are primarily stored locally on the user’s device. The app does not require a health-record account. Information leaves the app when the user deliberately shares a report or uses an external service.
