More than a mix of pieces by Gérard Hourbette, this assembly of excerpts from works from different periods of the composer constitutes a new immersive piece allowing a wandering in the particular sound universe of the thinking head of the group Art Zoyd. During the 20 years that I was able to rub shoulders with Gérard, the reference to the composer and philosopher John Cage was omnipresent. Everything is in everything, each minimalist sound contains all the other sounds on the planet. This complex universe born from the singular sound of a violin string to move towards a world of multiples is specific to Gérard and I have often described it as “macro music”. So let's penetrate again and again the music of this major composer using this immersive experience, moving towards his diverse sounds, his deep research of endless experimentation, his visions, his samplers, his violin, his humor, and finally let guide us through his music which transcends us and fills us with his presence.
