Ratings and reviews

This app is almost useless. I have a dual battery set up with solar and shore power charging options and it never recognizes both batteries and about half the time it won't show either one. After several cycles of shutting down and restarting I can usually get the status on one battery and hope the other (likely) is similar. For the expense of the system I expected much, much better and if this app isn't fixed, and soon, I will be done with Renogy.

I want an app that doesn't force me to login. After the latest update, I have to leave my trailer at the lake and find cell service, leave the app open and run back to the trailer to connect to the controller. I'm not sure the app shows the correct charge level from solar, as the home screen and device screen show different numbers. Would be nice to have hourly totals for amperage/wattage, not just daily. Or a way to export the data to a PC for reporting.

Kind of disappointed in this app. Since I bought the Rover charge controller used from Amazon warehouse, there was already some history on it (i.e. total energy, number of days up, etc.) and there are no clear instructions on how to reset. I also wonder why they don't have information available in history for when the last equalization occured, or when the next is due. And finally, Renogy should really consider a proofreader for the manuals--many of the terms are inconsistent or wrong.
