A shipping container. A dock full of awkward crates. Six regulations that do not bend.
Load Order is a packing puzzle with a clipboard. Crates arrive stencilled with a tag - HAZMAT, FOOD, HEAVY, FRAGILE, LIVESTOCK, COLD CHAIN. Drag them into the hold, tap to turn them, and the container ships only when it is packed solid with no regulation broken. Get it wrong and the load is HELD AT GATE with the infraction codes printed across it.
Three to five minutes a manifest. One thumb.
THE REGULATIONS DO THE DESIGN WORK
§1.1 The container ships full. No gaps.
§2.3 Heavy freight rests on the floor or on other heavy freight.
§2.4 Nothing rests on fragile freight. It reaches the ceiling.
§3.1 Hazardous goods may not touch food.
§4.2 Livestock must touch a side wall.
§5.0 Cold chain travels as one connected block.
ON THE DOCKET
- Two freight lines. Standard runs 4x4 to 6x7. Cold chain opens at Dispatch Chief, with tighter holds, shaped containers and boards that have exactly one legal packing.
- The daily manifest. One board, the same for everyone, a new one every morning. Wheel arches and bulkheads cut into the hold, livestock and hazmat and cold chain in the same container, and a different shape of problem for each day of the week.
- Eight career ranks, from Dock Hand to Master Loadmaster, earned across every pack and every daily you ever ship. Google Play leaderboards for the career total and for today's board.
- One free hint on every manifest. It places one crate in the correct position
- Saved on every move. Close it mid-load, come back to the same crates, the same clock, the same undo history.
- Plays offline. No energy, no lives, no timer that ends your board. The pace bonus only ever adds to a score.
Place the crates and stamp the manifest CLEARED. Then the next container rolls up to the dock.
Free to play. A banner ad sits under the controls, and extra hints can be earned by watching a video if you want them.
Load Order is a logic puzzle for people who like block puzzles, polyomino and pentomino fitting, nonograms, sudoku and a daily brain teaser with a bit of paperwork attached.
Pack the container. Obey the regulations. Ship it full.
