ResearchMeter allows users to share data on the websites and apps they use for market research purposes.

Safe and Secure - The app only collects the minimum data required for a study. Data is also encrypted at the point of capture, in transit and when stored. You can also pause capture at any time, choose to opt out of a study or have your data deleted whenever you want.

Low Impact - Our app is built to have a low impact on your device performance, battery life and data usage. Our technology is also designed to have no impact on other services you may use.

Simple to Use - Earning rewards couldn’t get any easier. Set up is simple and all you have to do is follow our onboarding steps and keep the app running until the end of the study.

This app uses Accessibility services. ResearchMeter uses this permission with the active consent of the end-user. The Accessibility permissions are used for analysing the application and web usage on this device as part of an opt-in market research panel.

This app uses VPN Services. ResearchMeter uses a VPN with the consent of the end-user. The VPN collects web usage data on this device and the data is analysed as part of an opt-in market research panel.

Ratings and reviews

I'm feeling uncertain about this app. Despite installing the ResearchMeter Certificate on the day I joined, I'm still being prompted to do so repeatedly, which is quite frustrating. I've been a member since December 2, 2025, and I've accumulated 3,000 points just from the initial installation. I use my Android phone daily, so it's surprising that I haven't earned more points in the past 56 days.

You can sign up, refer someone, but after that, the app itself won't work. Got the 3000 start-up points for doing so. This app will not let me finish setting up by "installing VPN certificate". I've installed it many times, it even shows it multiple times, but it will not finish! Can't redeem the points you earned until it has finished setup. I've contacted Google. I wish I hadn't referred anyone, because his phone did the same thing. Can't get it to work.

If you need a bit of extra income and don't mind this app dominating your phone, go for it. It constantly disconnects from the server/website and blows up your phone with notifications to reconnect or open the app. It also makes your phone lag while trying to reconnect on its own. A few times it has closed the app/game I was using because it was doing whatever in the background and can somehow override normal use. I'm currently making $6 a week for this!
