2.5 release is great. Aside from the app working flawlessly there's now some small touches to see progress of Sync for folders and other things to make it a bit more useful. Thanks as always for the hard work!
Do the job
Latest update fixed the crashes but some functionality is still hampered - sort by synched files first used to apply also to folders in a list and now doesn't. I'm also now not able to connect via LAN to my Synology in a different network and it was working before the update that caused the crash. My network configuration hasn't changed at all. Adding the Synology to the list of hosts doesn't help either. From my subnet I can only connect via the relay server which is quite slow on a VDSL line
Used to work flawlessly. Now, does not see any peers (HTC10) and false detects low battery (entering low battery mode) on my Pixel. Desktop update caused one of my nodes to endlessly reboot after kernel panic (Windows 10), and my other Windows 10 desktop randomly reindexes every folder without ever submitting data. The whole Sync app family is broken. I wish I could roll back on Android like I can on PC - at least the February version works for my Windows machines but neither Android can pull or push data.
Resilio sync while transferring files quickly, is quite difficult in Windows and Linux to configure, as it insists on using its own backup folder. Settings file is a binary database, and it's very confusing on how to setup remote devices. Once folders are setup, they immediately are shared between devices, whether you want them or not. There's very poor documentation on the three different kinds of backup folders. Syncthing is much easier to learn to use, more flexible, and free.
