About this app

RESQUNIT ETR is the application you need for activating and configure the ETR (Electronic Timer Release) that is used on your RESQUNIT trap recovery system / reserve buoy. With this app you can both read and set your preferred timer configuration.

The programming is easily done by selecting values in the mobile app and then the values are uploaded to the ETR by touching it with your mobile phone. The data is then transferred using Near-field communication (NFC).

As an example: If you normally haul your traps every 2nd day, it would be preferably to set the ETR release time to 5 days, in case weather prevents you from hauling the traps at the normal schedule. As the ETR is self aware and will only release the yellow reserve buoy if the system has been submerged for 5 days.

When you haul the traps in normal operation, the counter resets when it reaches the surface.

NOTE: After 50 releases (battery life-span), the buoy won't reattach. Please contact customer support.
